The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of difficulties in the social security sector that affect the quality of life satisfaction of Gyeonggi-do residents. For the purpose of the study, the 2021 Gyeonggi-do Community Security Needs Survey data was analyzed. In order to identify the factors influencing quality of life satisfaction step by step, independent variables were divided into individual characteristics, household characteristics, and difficulties in the social welfare area, and then a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted in which the factors were input in order. The analysis results are as follows. First, Gyeonggi-do residents’ satisfaction with quality of life was 3.34, which was found to be normal. Second, in the hierarchical regression analysis that analyzed the relative influence between independent variables, it was found that difficulties in the social security area had the greatest impact. Third, it was found that all independent variables input in this study had an effect on satisfaction with quality of life. Based on these results, policy recommendations were presented.
